ABOUT OUR CLINIC

As part of their education and training, all students enrolled in our College are required to treat a minimum of 350 patients in our Student Intern Clinic prior to graduation.

Under the supervision and direction of our faculty, students begin to see and apply the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine for themselves, and gain valuable insight into the theoretical and practical principles of acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine.

The Intern Clinic affords our students the opportunity not only to develop and refine their clinical skills, but also, and equally as important, to experience for themselves the unique dynamic of the patient-practitioner relationship. This hands-on training helps to better integrate our students' classroom learning into their overall development as future practitioners. As a result of the high quality of classroom and clinical training provided by the College, many TCTCM students pass their national board examinations in their third year, a full year before they graduate.

The College offers appointments with student interns, practicing under the supervision and direction of our faculty, for $25.00 per session or with our professionally trained and licensed faculty members for $90.00 for the first session and $70.00 per session thereafter.

To expedite your visit, please download, complete and print the clinic intake form and bring to your appointment: professional clinic intake form, student intern clinic intake form.
